The toolroom is a space where tools and jigs are made and repaired for use throughout the factory. In engineering and manufacturing, toolroom activity is everything related to tool-and-die facilities in contrast to production line activity. However, the equipment found in the tool room can be used to make individually with considerable time the components that are made in series. An artisanal workshop can resemble a tool room of a large manufacturing complex.

Below,  jigs and supports made in the tool shop to be used in the production process and the testing laboratory.

A mix of the materials that are used to make the jigs and tools used in the production process is always available.

In many of the machine shops you find these vintage, but effective demagnetisers, which are used to remove any magnetism from carbon steel based tools .
